Au CHSLD Wales Home de Richmond, le 22 août 2022, est décédé M. George John Horan à l’âge de 96 ans. Époux bien-aimé d’Evelyn Davidson et le cher père de Lana (Rick), Cheryl (Danny), Steven et Janice. Grand-père bien-aimé de Christopher (Shannelle), Stephanie (BJ), Samantha (Ryan), Jeremy et Sabrina (Alex). Arrière-grand-père bien aimé de Keelin, Paxton, Gibson et Burk. Il laisse aussi dans le deuil ses sœurs Deveda (feu Foster), Murdeena (feu Alex) et Elva (feu Norman) ainsi que sa belle-soeur Brenda (feu Carl). Il manquera beaucoup à sa famille ainsi qu’à ses nombreux neveux et nièces. Il est allé rejoindre sa première épouse Margaret Lockwood, ses frères et sœurs Andrew (Stella), Eileen (Roy) Hazel (Garth), Leola (George), Gordon (Lucille) et Doug (Ruby).

Les funérailles seront célébrées à l’église anglicane St-Augustin, 73 rue Du Carmel, Danville (Québec) le 1er octobre 2022 à 14h. La famille y recevra les condoléances à compter de 13h.

Au lieu des fleurs, si vous le souhaitez, un don peut être fait à l’association caritative de votre choix.

Quand je m’en irai, laissez-moi partir paisiblement comme le soleil se couche à l’horizon à la fin du jour. Je suis fatigué, alors je pars paisiblement me reposer où se trouve la paix.

George John Horan passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the age of 96. Loving husband of Evelyn Davidson and dear father of Lana (Rick), Cheryl (Danny), Steven, and Janice. Loving Grandfather of Christopher (Shannelle), Stephanie (BJ), Samantha (Ryan), Jeremy and Sabrina (Alex). Loving Great-grandfather of Keelin, Paxton, Gibson and Burk. George leaves to mourn his sisters, Deveda (late Foster), Murdeena (late Alex) and Elva (late Norman) and sister-in- law Brenda (late Carl). He will be greatly missed by family and his many nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his first wife, Margaret (ne: Lockwood), and siblings Andrew (Stella), Eileen (Roy), Hazel (Garth), Leola (George), Gordon (Lucille) and Doug (Ruby).

The funeral service will be held at St-Augustine’s Anglican Church at 73 Carmel St, Danville, Quebec at 2 pm. Visitation will begin at 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, if you wish, donation may be made to the charity of your choice.

When I go, let me go peacefully as sinks the sun beyond the horizon when the day is done. I will be tired then so it is best that I go quietly to where there's rest.
